My job encompasses everything from basic bookkeeping to the strategic financial planning which underpins the long-term sustainability of the involve Yorkshire & Humber and its services. I work here on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. My role is supported by admin staff who deal with day-to-day invoicing, banking and cheque writing. I started here as Office Manager in 2000 and my job has evolved as the organisation has developed.
Prior to this I've been a Volunteer Coordinator for a number of charities including Burley Lodge Centre and Barnardo’s Streets and Lanes.
Before that I studied for degrees in Biochemistry and Applied Environmental Microbiology. I'm also a qualified UIMLA International Mountain Leader, but I think it’s my Masters in Charity Accounting and Financial Management that Involve Y&H actually values me for.
