Who's Who in Yorkshire & Humber is an updated version of the orignial Who's Who in Yorkshire & Humber seminar run in July 2011.
This seminar is about the presence and work of Government Departments in Yorkshire and Humber : what they do and how the voluntary sector can be involved
Whitehall and central Government operate in Yorkshire & Humber in new ways since the major changes to regional institutions brought about by the Coalition. A number of senior staff, with a base in Whitehall departments, work in Yorkshire and Humber.
The Government’s localism policy has changed the way civil servants work across the region but there are issues like transport or economic development that require a big picture approach.
This seminar will bring together key players with roles across Yorkshire and Humber to explain what they do, what current Government thinking is about sub-national concerns and how they relate to the voluntary sector.
