Yorkshire & the Humber Volunteering Network is the England Volunteering Development Council (EVDC) for Yorkshire and Humber working with Volunteering England.
EVDC is a representative body for national volunteer-involving organisations, national and regional infrastructure bodies and other national agencies working to support volunteering.
EVDC empowers these bodies through information and consultation and advocates for volunteering to Government and national institutions. Thereby, it strengthens the significance and values of volunteering for society, communities and individuals, and improves policy and practice.
Involve Yorkshire & Humber acts as the secretariat for the network, which is led by a steering group.
